It's always hard to decide if a picture should be B/W or not. I don't know how this picture would look in color, but actually, I don't want to know. It's fine the way it is. There's some kind of calmness, but also the urge to go into the water to find out how cold it is (I think it would be cold, but I don't know... in Germany it would be!).
Also, the reflection of the clouds and the sky makes everything seem to be more alive. That's the important think in B/W nature photos.
